What are you thankful for?

I am thankful that God's grace has given me a way to be thankful for not only life here on earth but to be profoundly grateful for life everlasting. Thanksgiving should be a day to be with family and friends, but we should not forget that God's grace allows us these blessings. Just take a minute and be thankful for our best blessing of all...

Heavenly Father, Thank you so much for your mercy on my soul and for providing me with salvation through Jesus Christ my Lord.

Thankful for Thanksgiving

Like Toaster, I am sooooooo glad it is Thanksgiving week. My profs have been sooooooooo generous.... we are not meeting at all this week... they did give us at home assignments but I have 10 days to get them done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sometimes I think this semester will NEVER end.
I found out where my first seven week student teaching assignment will be (starting in January) 45 minutes from MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHH I already hate getting up early now I have to get up even earlier 5 days a week!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Toaster, I send message about reading unit third grade "the Great Kapok Tree".... if you would like me to send it to you I will....
well, better get off computer, heading to Kohls for a SALE!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't even STARTED Christmas shopping yet... and I am gonna have my tree up by next weekend!

I am addicted to DOG the Bounty Hunter! I just searched for new news and got the wonderful news that the charges in Mexico have been dropped for now. I pray that there won't be any further ones filed. I mean really, dog and his team hunted and found a serial rapist! Thanks to them he is off the streets. Each and every week the show follows the team as they find fugitives and lock them away. I love the show because they give all the glory to God. They pray publicly for the safety of the team and of the criminal. I think it is awesome!!!!! yes, there are times when in the heat of pursuit the cussing is a bit much but overall it's an awesome show!

ok paid announcement over... I just wanted to say I am glad to know our justice system is working... I pray it will continue to work to put away the criminals and support those who are putting them away.

Birhtdays and other things

Hum, what makes you old? Birthdays? wrinkles?
I can happily say that the wrinkles are not a problem yet... but TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY.... And you know it makes you stop and think... What makes you old?
I think it is when you give up, stop learning, and stop laughing.
Birthdays are a time to remember your friends, family, special events, and to dream about what is yet to be.
Today I choose to believe is special because God gave me another birthday to celebrate. One more year to share God's love and Compassion!

I just returned from a weekend away to my favorite vacation Spot! J and A are the Best hosts ever!!!! Just a shout out to them for a wonderful weekend full of friends, fun and FOOD!!!!! love ya bunches!
